We welcome those who wish to photograph our beautiful and historic cemetery. However, Jayhawk Cemetery has a duty to protect the privacy of the families of every person interred here. We ask that anyone with an interest in photographing specific memorials and/or gravesites seek the approval of the decedents’ families.

Fresh cut flowers, artificial flowers, potted plants, and non-floral decorations are all permitted.

Decorating the surrounding trees, shrubs or landscape with holiday ornaments, streamers, wind chimes, birdfeeders, etc., is prohibited.

Flowerbeds are permitted on every grave space (except cremation lots) in the Cemetery.

Dogs must be leashed at all times for their safety and for the safety of other visitors. It is the owner's responsibility for picking up waste and disposing of it appropriately.

Speed limits of 15 miles per hour must be observed for teh safety of all persons on Cemetery grounds.

Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, etc. must be parked or walked while on the Cemetery grounds.
